- Menu must be selected 14 days prior to the function with the approximate numbers.
- The hotel must receive a guaranteed number of guests 3 days prior to the function.
- The hotel must be guaranteed the following numbers of dinner guests on peak days for each ballroom:
- Deposits are required at time of booking as follows:
- Deposits are non-refundable unless the hall is re-booked. If re-booked 1/2 of the deposit will be returned one week after the original scheduled function date.
- Banquet rooms must be vacated no later than 1:30 A.M.
- 14 days prior to the function, an advance payment equal to the estimated cost of the function must be received. Any exceptions must be made with the approval of hotel management.
- Arrangements for decorating must be made with the approval of the hotel.
- The hotel will automatically reserve 10 rooms for out of town guests at a $97.00 rate for the function. Additional rooms can be reserved by contacting hotel management. Any rooms reserved will be held until 30 days prior to the function. Inserts for your invitations are available from the hotel and include: location map and toll free reservation number .
- A complimentary guest room and hospitality room may be available for the function, contact hotel management for confirmation.
- Hall costs are covered by meal and bar revenue if the number of dinners meet the minimum criteria for the hall used.
- Tables are provided with white linens at no additional charge. Napkin colors are Burgundy, Royal Blue, White or Pink, and you are guaranteed a combination of any two colors.
- Meals for Hotel service personnel are not charged to the customer.
- Bartender service is not charged if bar sales exceed $300.00.
- Receptions may use both Host and Cash bar service in combination (Host bar for cocktails, Cash bar for after dinner).
- If paper or mylar confetti, smeared cake, broken glass is encountered at clean up an additional charge of $125.00 may be levied.
- P.S.T. is 8% for meals. 10% for bar charges.
- G.S.T. is 5% for all services.
- Gratuity charges are 12% for meals. 10% for bar charges.
- If candles are to be used in centerpieces the flame must be covered by a chimney (floating candles in glass containers are recommended)
- Caraffes are available at no charge to serve homemade wine at wedding receptions. Homemade Wine may only be served for the meal portion of the evening...a liquor license is required for that time period.
- Any wine remaining after the dinner has to be removed from the tables and stored to return to the bride and groom at a later time.
- Bud vases are available at no charge for table centerpieces.
- Candelabras (2) are available for head tables at wedding receptions at no charge.
- Hotel policy is to leave the dance floor clear during dinner to allow the convenient transition to the dance part of the reception.
- The Hotel must charge, collect, and remit a $59.95 + GST S.O.C.A.N. levy (society of composers, authors and Music Publishers of Canada) for Royalties on the music played during your reception.
- The booking party may cater the late evening snack following a dinner with the exception of perishable items, (ie. egg, meat or sandwiches) Sandwiches are available at a reduced price from the Hotel. All items must be approved by hotel management prior to being served.
